Ebay Payment system is broken.

When I am about to checkout, I sometimes want to double check an item description especially when I have a lot of items in my cart. I have always done this even since I can remember however recently I have noticed that if I go back to check an item or maybe even add more items to my cart, I will have major problem with paypal checkout by it saying that paypal is no longer available for checkout.

One minute I am sign into paypal and 1 button away from confirming payment and when I go back to check an item description or maybe look for a lower price before pulling the trigger, then paypal option then disappears. Even when I call, they say I don't have the option of even answering security questions to remove the block.

This is absolutely absurd that paypal would lockup just by existing the checkout page because you want to check some item description, add something else to the cart, look for a lower price,etc...

I have noticed this for maybe the past 2 months and last noticed it with the ebay coupon code. Has anyone else noticed this? Maybe this is why ebay will no longer use paypal in the future because of these glitches?

Thanks.

That’s an eBay glitch not a PayPal glitch. Maybe you should put items on your watch list instead of in the cart? And add them to the cart after you’ve re-read the listing and are sure it’s what you want.

eBay is not dumping Paypal, Paypal doesn't want to be in an agreement with eBay which limits their ability to grow, so they are the one who is backing out.
