I know it's been probably been going on for awhile, but I as a buyer, just looked at some listings I was interested in and it's like the busy NYC Time Square bill boards, signs, etc.
It's so BUSY and DISTRACTING with ALL the sponsored ads in the middle, the bottom and every which way you look at the item you're interested at. Me thinks sellers won't be too happy, and as a buyer, it's a turn off, negative vibe. A row of sponsored ads is even in the middle of my watch list. 🙄

Ebay attempting to motivate you not to leave their platform without buying something.
Ebay's attempt at giving you a reason to come back soon & visit again

My browsers all have ad blockers, which install in seconds.
So the listing which you bought, for example, doesn't show any ads whatsoever.

I use AdBlockPlus. Apparently at this moment it is Blocking nine ads on this page.
It does not work with the ads that eBay itself was paid to post nor for the similar listings that eBay puts on our listings.

Ads are designed to get people's attention, obviously it did... It's a great view of 7th and broadway in times square, wish I was there.
