HI! - 

 

SEVERAL TIMES OF LATE I HAVE RECEIVED E-MAILS FROM EBAY TO LEAVE FEEDBACK FOR ITEMS.  ONE WAS FOR A POSTER I DID NOT BUY FROM A SELLER AND BOUGHT A SLIGHTLY SMALLER SIZE OF THE SAME PRINT FROM ANOTHER SELLER.  I FINALLY WENT ON THE SITE OF THE SELLER WHO I DID NOT BUY FROM AND USED THE AREA FOR WHAT YOU LIKED ABOUT THE SELLER, HOW THE TRANSACTION WENT, ETC., ETC., ETC. TO NOTIFY EBAY I DIDN'T BUY FROM THAT SELLER.  THEY FINALLY TOOK IT OFF MY LIST OF ITEMS TO LEAVE FEEDBACK.  TONIGHT I WENT ON AGAIN AND I HAD PURCHASED 4 DIFFERENT T-SHIRTS BUT THEY HAVE NOT ARRIVED YET AND THEY ARE STILL IN TRANSIT.  E-BAY WANTS ME TO LEAVE FEEDBACK BUT I WILL LEAVE THE FEEDBACK WHEN I GET THE SHIRTS.  IN THE MEANTIME, I GET NOWHERE TRYING TO CALL OR SEND ANYTHING TO EBAY TO TELL THEM THAT I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE THE ORDER.  WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO?

1. Feedback is voluntary. You can ignore all requests to leave feedback.

 

2. You can change your account settings to turn off feedback reminders:

https://commspreferences.ebay.com/commsprefs

 

3. You can stop typing in all CAPS because that's considered yelling, especially when you bold the text.

I have trouble with seeing what I write and what I want to say so you will excuse the caps and bold color.  It helps me see what I am trying to articulate when I'm writing.  

Thank you for giving me the account setting to turn off the feedback reminders - I truthfully didn't know it existed.  

However, I still think eBay should provide a phone number to call to tell them a buyer has or has not received their order(s) from a seller as yet.

Ebay has something much better than a phone number to report orders not received (because surely, with 2 billion sales a day, you don't think they need a phone number to report that buyers have received their order). Go to your purchase history and find the last estimated delivery date for the purchase. If you haven't received it by the day after that date look under More actions and click 'I didn't receive it'. That opens a case under the Money Back Guarantee. The entire refund process is fully automated.

LEARN TO IGNORE EBAY REQUESTS LIKE THAT.  BY THE WAY, WRITING IN ALL CAPITALS MAKES IT HARDER TO READ.  IF YOU SELL, DON'T DO THIS. IT'S COSTING YOU SALES. I HIT THE BACK BUTTON WHEN I SEE.

I initiated the question and received alternatives to how to solve the problem I had.  I do not any more feedback on the issue.  I thank those who answered my query with their knowledgeable answers.  I will try to implement your solutions if the need arises at another time.
