Do EBAY care anymore if you message someone and buy what they is got in person???

Just wondering if they care???     They used to monitor emails and say things like "Is you trying to broker a deal outside of ebay"         But now they is got that message app thing

They do monitoring and they will charge you a fee for conducting and off eBay transaction.

Offering to buy or sell outside of eBay.

While you cannot contact a seller with contact information if they do not have local Pickup as a shipping option, you can message them and tell them what city you are located in, and ask if they will add local pickup to the listing.  If they will, then once you commit to buy or win an auction, you can exchange contact info.  You will still see the warning about doing that but when you click on Send the message will go through.
