I ordered a couple rolls of bubble wrap and thought that I would see speedy delivery as I have every time I've ordered this from multiple sellers. I needed it fairly quickly. The location of the item was listed as being in the United States. But after I buy it I find out that the delivery time is 9 days (it's been 10 days and it still isn't here) and the tracking states it's coming from Canada. There was no tracking update for 9 days. How did that happen? If I knew it was coming from Canada I wouldn't have ordered from this seller. I re-checked the seller's listing and they're still saying the product is coming from California. Is it allowable to lie about the item's location? This may be the first negative feedback I've left on Ebay. I don't like deception like that.

Before you jump to conclusions:
1. CA = California
2. CA = Canada
3. Tracking could be wrong.
4. Package may have been mis-routed by the carrier.
5. Seller could be in Canada and have a California warehouse or supplier.
6. Who is the carrier?
7. Are you paying international delivery rates or domestic?
Bottom line: Contact your seller and ask if the tracking number belongs to your order or if you have been given incorrect information.

"I ordered a couple rolls of bubble wrap and thought that I would see speedy delivery as I have every time I've ordered this from multiple sellers... But after I buy it I find out that the delivery time is 9 days it's been 10 days and it still isn't here, ".
As a seller should you know where to look to see the estimated delivery dates, and where to look before buying. Since you are located in N.E. Pa. why didn't you buy from an east coast seller? You also should know you cannot judge one seller's performance, by another's. I do not know about you, but when I find a good supplier, I save their info and keep using them, unless they fail to perform. Then, they would have to realy fail before I looked for another.
9 days domestically is what Parcel Select's outside delivery time is in the lower 48. While parcel select generally takes less time to be delivered, I've found lately that long cross country deliveries tend to get bounced in wrong directions for some reason. As dutchess said CA = California or Canada. I'd like to know what city is given as the item location.
"There was no tracking update for 9 days. How did that happen"?
It happens when economy shipping is used, and items come by ground. Especially, if the longhaul truck has pickup or delivery stops along the way.

I take it you still have not searched for the city online to see if you mistook Ca, as being California. If the location is in Canada you didn't do your due dilligence.

No, the listing said specifically U.S., as in California. It is spelled out CALIFORNIA. Got it? I wouldn't have ordered from Canada. Did you actually read my post completely before replying?

No, it was spelled out CALIFORNIA. Still is on the listing. Are you too dense to get that?

Seriously???
Nobody here is attacking you- they are VOLUNTEERS trying to help you.
They have to question & suggest to figure out exactly what happened and how they can advise.
There's no need to be so nasty with good people that are just trying to help you.

Just an update on the situation. As I said before, the listing specifically said U.S. as in California. His listing still says California. But the tracking said the shipment originated in Ontario, Canada. Ignore the know-it-all dunces below who questioned my word. I would say to them I am not an idiot and they should take my word at face value. It finally arrived, but guess what? They only sent one roll. I ordered two rolls of bubble wrap. I called Ebay and they said the only way to resolve the situation is to return the one roll they sent for a full refund. So guess what? Now I have to make a special trip 42 mile round trip to UPS to return it. And guess what? I just made that trip today. Why? Some other incompetent idiot sent the wrong rugs. So now I have to burn my gas and go back again. I also noticed that I ordered the rugs on Ebay but they came fulfillment by Amazon. I never have left negative feedback on Ebay. That is about to change.

I don't like people suggesting that I am stupid. That's not any help at all.

Are you sure it doesn't say Ontario California? Post the tracking number please. There is an Ontario in California.

Well, you're the one having to return a couple of items...

Why? When you open a return request, the return shipping label is USPS, not UPS.

The majority of Canadian live within a few miles of the border.
I'm in Victoria BC across the Salish Sea from Washington state. I can see the Olympic Mountains from the top of my street.
There are several companies, most notably chitchatexpress, which carry shipments from Canadian sellers across the border and ship them via USPS.
Even with the short delay between ordering and arrival at the USPS PO, and chitchat's fees, the lower cost of postage makes it well worthwhile.
The main point is that the delivery period is on the listing. If the shipment is late you are covered by Buyer Protection.
Really dear, aren't you just mad at yourself for not reading the description thoroughly?
Have a Nanaimo Bar, you're not yourself when you're hungry.
