I bought an item and it stated the seller's location was Canada. The item was defective and I initiated the return. The address to send it to was in Chinese gibberish. I think he does that on purpose so nobody can send hm back anything. I tried contacting Ebay resolution but it keeps directing me back to the return page. I thought it was against Ebay policy for sellers to give a fake location. How do I resolve this? Do I have to cancel the return request to open a case with Ebay?

Even if you select "USA only", you'll still get sellers from China, etc. listing a US, shipping location. I have addressed this issue by checking the seller's user page to see the country of origin. I only buy from sellers whose shipping locations match their countries of origin. Due to the increased cost of shipping, it makes sense to stick with US sellers.

How disgusting that Facebook needs to be used to contact ebay. Ebay is absolute evil trash for not providing any means of contacting customer service.

Facebook is not required to contact eBay, though that is one avenue you can use to reach farther than the ordinary customer service reps that you can reach by phone.
You can request a call back from eBay if you are in the US, or request a chat with an agent:
https://www.ebay.com/help/contact_us?id=4002&st=10
Or you may be able to contact eBay via twitter:
If you have a general question that does not involve account details, you can try asking a question here or on one of the other discussion boards. Lots of experienced users can offer advice and suggestions.

File a chargeback right away with your CC issuer dont be a victim. Lots of seller's from China getting away with this.
