This reeks of a SCAM.
If you found the item someplace other than on eBay. the invoice is fake
STOP. RUN

Did you find the vehicle listed on another website like Craigslist or Facebook marketplace? Do they want you to pay with gift cards? If so then it is a SCAM, Stop communicating and report the listing to the website you found it on.

How do I look up the invoice or fi d it the invoice was emailed to me. It looks legit. I don't know

Vehicles listed and sold on eBay do not have invoices or payments by gift card.

If you did find the item on eBay then the invoice is fake.
The item does exist, but the scammer contacting you does not have/own that item. The scammers snag those photos, and info, and create a fake invoice with the information. You will never get what is invoiced. All you will get is regret, and an empty wallet.
eBay does not work that way. You find something on eBay. You purchase on eBay.
There may be different payment options offered on eBay for the item, but for sure one option would never be to go buy gift cards, and then provide the card #'s to a seller.
There are no eBay warehouse where things are stored. eBay does not ship items free giving you 5 days to look it over, and send back for free.
eBay items are no foundon Facebook, offer-up, or anyplace other than on eBay

If is says buy gift cards or pay with them is is NOT. It the item listed on eBay? If not, it's a SCAM. Items must be listed on eBay to be an eBay sale. There is no other way. eBay never assists in sales or payments of items on other sites.

You can't look it up because it's fake and it's not from Ebay, but a thief that wants to steal your money.

If the car wasn't listed on ebay, you will be scammed.

Check to see if a invoice is real
Don't waste your time and certainly don't pay it... the 'invoice' is NOT real.

If you found the vehicle on a non eBay site like Facebook, OfferUp or Craigslist and they said eBay was handling the sale and you gave them your name and email address so "eBay " could send you the details, that's a scam.
If the price is too good to be true it's too good to be true.
The invoice is fake. That's not how vehicle sales work.
eBay has nothing to do with sales from another site. You don't buy at Target and pay at Walmart, right?
eBay doesn't handle payments on vehicles.
eBay doesn't offer a 5 day inspection period. Vehicles can't be returned.
SOMEONE is trying to steal gift cards or prepaid credit cards.
The number and email in that fake invoice connects to the scammer.
Forward that email to spoof@ebay.com and stop communicating with them.
Report the fraudulent ad on the site you found it.
Read the ALERT on the Vehicle Purchase Protection policy. here.https://pages.motors.ebay.com/buy/purchase-protection/index.html

To BUY on ebay the item needs to be listed on ebay.
If you did not search for the item on ebay then it is not a valid ebay listing.

It makes us all nervous when you don't check back in. One more plea... please, please do NOT be looking for a way (taking food from your two babies) to pay this FAKE invoice.

OP only joined eBay today (at least with this ID).
The 'invoice' is a fake.
There is no vehicle.
She's not an angry divorcee, or a trooper in Afghanistan, or an oceanographer in the North Sea.
EBay does have a Motors section.
You would be billed and would pay directly on the site. The invoice is also on the site.
You can pay with Paypal, or ApplePay, or GooglePay, or credit card.
All of those have Buyer Protection.
You can NOT pay with gift cards. Those have NO Buyer Protection.
There is no warehouse.
Pickup is up to you.

Exactly WHERE did you find this vehicle listed and what is the item #?
And have to say, you are making people nervous because you haven't returned and answered any questions. Is that because you've read all the messages and you now realize you're about to be scammed, or perhaps because you have already bought the gift cards and sent the scammer the numbers?
