Check out issues

I have been trying to purchase a PS 5 for the past few days.... every time I have an issue checking out with a credit card.  Says unable to process.... check info or try another card.  I have tried 4 different cards all with enough funds with the same issue.  Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

Re: Check out issues

You can try adding the item to your shopping cart and then requesting an invoice from the seller.

I suspect, however, that the problem isn't with your card, but the fact that you are a new buyer trying to buy a high value high fraud risk item. As a new buyer, eBay can sometimes limit how much you can purchase until you have a proven track record. You can go to this page and find out more, including how to get you limits raised.

You have to get visa master cards to pay online.

Re: Check out issues

@kridua-37,

Because you are a brand new member you have spending/quantity limits on your account.  If you have placed bids on items those bids count towards a rolling Open Transaction limit of 4 or 5 Bids, Offers, items not yet paid for, that you can have at any one given time, until the limit is removed.  That info is not given in the link below

If you were trying to use Buy It Now (BIN) and could not check out there is a suggestion in the link below to add one of your cards to your ebay account.

This is done best by logging in the classic way not through the app.

  • Go to your my ebay page click on the Account button.
  • Select Personal information.
  • Scroll down to Payment Options, click on edit.
  • Then add your card information in that field.

If you signed up for a PayPal account link it to your ebay account. Info below

https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/paying/paypal-issues-setup?id=4033

Once you do that, at checkout select the PayPal button, and you will be directed to login to your PayPal account to make payment.

Good Luck.
