Cannot buy item in app

Hi, I am trying to purchase an item through the app and it tells me to use a PC instead. I do have one, but why does this problem occur? At first it said the seller does not ship to my address, so I changed it to a US address (seller is in the US) I use sometimes for forwarding, and then it gave me the error. Why does this happen? Seen a few posts about it but no real answer.

Since the purchase did not go through, you may not yet be blocked. So you can try sending the seller a message saying you would like to buy the item but may be blocked because of your country of registry. Then tell them you do have a U.S. address of a freight forwarding service in the U.S. that will forward the package to you, and ask if they will ship to it, and ask them to exclude you from the countries I do not ship to list. 

 

If you get a message saying "the seller is not accepting messages from you", then you are already blocked, and will not be able to reach the seller.

I cannot say for sure why this is happening, but there may be a few reasons why it is.

 

1)    When you tried to make the first purchase and received the seller does not ship to your address message, your username was automatically placed on their Blocked Buyer List (BBL).   That happened because the seller set up a Buyer requirement that automatically blocks buyers who: Are located in a country I do not ship to.  You should have clicked on the Shipping and Payments tab to see if the seller ships to Sweden, before trying to buy.

 

2)   Changing your address after being blocked will not work. The seller has probably blocked communications from members who are on their BBL,   so you cannot contact them now to ask them to allow you to be able to buy. 

 

3)   There also seems to have been a change or a programming error that does not allow changes of address from one in a foreign country, to one in a seller's country to allow a purchase, it goes by country of registry now.

 

As for being told to use a computer, this is the first I have heard of that happening.

It seems I had misread the messages. It tells me to add the item on the watch list and make the purchase on the website.

Hi,

I think that the issue is your shipping option, you should have enable WW Worldwide shipping.

OP is a buyer, not a seller. This advice doesn't pertain to their issue.

okay, so maybe the buyer should ask the seller to check the shipping options, which should be WW.
