Re: Better one

I have never been a seller on eBay, but I can say something as a buyer.

First, both the website and the app may be useful, but in different situations. For example, when I want to run a detailed search with many parameters, I prefer my laptop, with proper keyboard, big screen, etc., and I would use a website. On the other hand, when I am in a taxi and want to check the remaining time of an auction for some item, I would just use the app in my smartphone.

Second, some features may only work for one of those access methods. There is at least one such feature: custom lists are not accessible via the app, they can be used on the website only.

Re: Better one

@pasiya.k,

That would be a personal choice.  I prefer using my computer, for both activities. as a buyer I like it because it is easier to see all of the info on a page at one time, rather that to have to scroll side to side to read descriptions, or expand photos to see details better.

As a seller I prefer my computer because I take my own photos and want to make sure the ones chosen for a listing are sharp and clear when enlarged.  It is also easier for me to pickup on a typing mistake on a larger screen.  However, since you are located in Sri Lanka your listing info and photos are probably being supplied by your chinese product sources so it wouldn't matter as much.

Regarding your above statement, if I sell anything on ebay I will not sell Chinese products. If I sell, I will only sell Sri Lankan products. What you say will apply to those concerned people and not to me
