We have removed your review of this purchase.
In this case, it is one of our most trusted sellers. We have therefore given him the opportunity to lodge an objection, even though this may not fall within our normal procedures.
In a later email ebay admitted that my review should not have been removed and that they can't put it up again.
Looking at all of this Ebay - especially Ebay Germany customers service- looks unprofessional, maybe incompetent and possibly seller bias.
So as you can understand I'm going to close my eBay account, because this behavior is quite bad.

It sounds like you didn't use the return process correctly. Did you open a return request from the purchase or was all the communication regarding a return through messages? Did you upload the tracking into the return request? If so you wait 4 days after delivery of the return you can request ebay to step in to issue your refund.
If your return request was only communicated through messages and not the return request that would be why you didn't get your refund.
You can try filing a charge back with your credit card or Paypal if that is how you paid.
As for your departure... Good bye

@Anonymous,
You are based in Sweden, and seem to do most of your buying on ebay Germany's site (ebay.de) where bank transfers are allowed to be used. You posted your issue on the U.S. based site (ebay.com) where bank transfers are not allowed. Most of ebay's sites have basically the same policies, but there are some differences. Maybe if you posted your concern on the German site, the members there could help you.
ebooksdiva, did ask you one question that you did not answer, and it is an important one. "Did you upload the tracking into the return request"?
If you did not return the item with tracking, or did but did not add the tracking number to the return claim, that could be why you were not issued a refund. If you did not upload a tracking number but have one. You may be able to appeal ebay's decision. You should check with the German site's community for the correct time frames for filing appeals.
FYI, Community members are buyers and sellers just like you. We can try to help, but without all of the necessary information, all we can do is hope the information we provide is correct.

OP follow this advice. US transactions are different and wire transfers are considered scams here. BTW the CS agent did say they weren't responsible for the refund

Tracking was provided.
Ebay Germany is part of the problem.
I would recommend check the way they conduct business.
I have saved all communications. Some answers are quite ridiculous.

And for dubious: That it is ebay German.
A case was also opened against the seller.
And for your take on:
When they say there will be no issue they aren't saying no problem they are using the word issue interchangeable with case.
That is an intersting twist of what the customer service rep said.
If you look at the context It's in case the seller does not pay it later. It does not say anything about opening a case against the seller - although I did. So not a case against the seller.
It's interesting how you twist the words into your already determined position.
Thy I didn't write one ebay Germany:
I have zero confidence or trust in them.

@Anonymous,
As I suggested you may want to go the ebay Germany site's community, since not all of ebay's sites have the same policies, and those members might offer better advice than we can.

Sellers from a different country are unable to send a return label.
Instead they are supposed to reimburse shipping costs, and they do that by sending the money upfront for you to buy a return label. You can't trust they will reimburse your shipping costs after it's been returned. eBay has no way to force them to reimburse shipping and that's why you get the return money up front.
You needed to go back to the case and ask for eBay's help, letting them know the seller is responsible for return shipping and they haven't sent a label or shipping money so you can return it. eBay would refund and tell you that you don't have to return it.
That is how it works with International returns.
