Hello E bay,
.
Before I start on what I was wanting to communicate I want to first say; I'm using this medium to send a simple message to you that really shouldn't have been so difficult to deliver. But your notions of running people through various prechosen hoops for them to choose their question &/or their answer methodology, (I call this AutoPilot) is worse than speaking to a telephone answering bot when you called wanting to tell the folks in the building that there is a dumpster fire in their parking lot. AutoPilot just doesn't work well for some things, top of that list is customer interactions. I do hope to see you guys decide to improve on this, there are better ways to go about it.
.
Now back to the original message I have for you that actually brought me here today.
It is my opinion that you guys should be setting up this sales site to make it faster for a customer to get what they were looking for and to get on about their day. At minimum make it easier for them to stay on track. When I arrive here I am after something specific, but I know better than to employ your search function, by design it has too many 'other things' included in it. Granted, most are related to what I asked for, but still most entries are NOT what I asked for. So much so in fact, these days as I first arrive here, I generally just log in, then I open another browser tab to use an advanced search operator on Google Search Engine that makes it restrict its results to just the E bay domain, and then I do my searching for products here, from there. Sadly that methodology is much more efficient. I also want to mention that most folks run popup blockers in our web browsers for a reason. Today as I went through the description of two different vendor's listings for a set of tires for my motorcycle, you had two different windows appear over the page I was viewing, or re-present/repaint (however it may be called technically these days) a portion of the page after I got a few seconds to look at the page. THAT'S UNACCEPTABLY RUDE! And it is the reason we all started running popup blockers in the first place. Why have you have chosen to rudely present interruptions? In case you don't know let me say it this way. There is NO MESSAGE be it about any new policy you have, or are about to have, nor any message attempting to get me to try some 'new look' you put up on your in-site mailbox's presentation acceptable, as an interruption to me as I seek to make a purchase! Learn your manners! Again your rudeness today has cost you a commission on a set of tires, and one of your vendors their whole opportunity of a sell today.
.
As a courtesy, I thought I would send you this message today, because I usually leave here by killing the window and just going on about my goal at the time; but since I already had wasted too much time on E bay today over this, I thought I would attempt to clue you in on why I have not spent anything here in the last half dozen times I have signed in here (over the course of the last several months).
.
So in summation:
You guys need to get rid of your AutoPilot (ways). He's an expensive employee to be working in sales (even for free); as he is offensively rude. Assuming I represent anywhere near the 'norm' for my age and demographic [late 50's and early 60's male] and I wager I am, and I do; then It's costing you more money than is easy to tally up on your books.
.
Have a nice day!

eBay AKA "you guys" is not here.
This is buyers and sellers, Im sure you could have written less and made your point.
I can say there is a 99% chance no one a eBay with any power to change anything will see, read or act on your complaints.
Best of luck!

You don't like repeating "human help" over and over until the bot breaks and finally connects you to a human who tells you they won't help and closes your case anyways??

Highly doubtful that anyone from ebay will ever see your post - this is a member to member forum made up of buyers and sellers, as khlmdg states; "you guys" aren't here.

Even if eBay were here (and as stated, they aren't), your post would likely have been skimmed at best. In the business world time is money, so being clear, concise, and remembering the old 'double space for a paragraph' rule would serve you well in learning the art of complaint letters.
