It is suppose that take 3 days for sneakers. However, due to the bad weather over a large portion of the county, things are probable being delayed. And I doubt they work on weekends. I'd give it a couple more days then ask for a call back at the bottom of this page. https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/selling-tools/ebay-authenticity-guarantee?id=4644&st=12&pos=3&quer...
Remember, in eBay time, 3 days = whenever we get around to it.

I found out today that my shoes made an unexpected stop at the "authenticator" also. How is nobody else upset about this but me? If I wanted open box items I wouldn't have paid the new price. We're protected as buyers, so why is this needed or tolerated? What if it's a gift or for resale, or the fact that it's my stuff and it's theirs to touch. Not to mention, how is this legal to open someone's mail. That's a federal offense

"... they have been at the hub since 2-17-21..."
Surely this is a misprint. If it was in 2021, you've long since run out of time to file a claim here or elsewhere.

How was the authentication process unexpected? It clearly states in the listing "This item is verified by professionally trained authenticators before delivery". Sneaker Authentication is a service that many sellers choose to include to promote confidence their sneakers are genuine. With the authentication process the sneakers are first mailed to the authenticators, so no one is opening your mail.
If you're going to buy sneakers on eBay I suggest you look for the blue checkmark and Authenticity Guarantee notice in listings, and acquaint yourself with the program:

The original post was from 2-20-21, so it was only 3 days later when this thread was started.
