Hello, my last purchases are being left by the courier at the post office. I have never had this problem. Sellers do not know what is happening. Normally my packages arrive at the door of my house. There is always someone at home, no information is provided on which office my purchase is in. THE PACKAGE WILL SECURELY BE RETURNED TO THE SELLERS. The address is correct and there are no weather problems that make delivery difficult. BUYING ON EBAY IS GETTING WORSE : /

Go to your PO and ask them why: not the sellers or eBays fault.

Why would the US Post Office not delivering your items to your door and informing you via either note or on tracking that the items are at the Post Office- an ebay thing?
Why are you blaming ebay?
It's like blaming the Rancher that your steak was overcooked at the diner.

Issues with your mail delivery have nothing to do with the seller or with eBay. You need to contact your postmaster and inquire with them why this is occurring. Most likely something easy to fix. Best of luck to you....

Generally a pickup slip will show the location where the package is being held; usually ( but not always) it's the PO for your ZIP Code. And surely it will always be the same location every time a Post Office package is held for you.
Your local PO might have decided that leaving packages at homes in your area presents a theft risk; they do this by neighborhood not by individual residence. They might have some risk information (such as theft reports) that you are not aware of. It doesn't matter if anybody is home, because porch pirates will follow the carrier and snap up packages very quickly after delivery. Especially at this time of year, carriers don't have time to ring the bell and wait to see if somebody answers.
Of course eBay and eBay sellers have no way of controlling how your local PO has decided to handle packages.

So eBAy and their sellers are conspiring with your mail delivery person to inconvenience you into
having to go to the PO and pick up your mail?
Interesting.

I would recommend asking the post master at your regular post office. I recently began suddenly getting mail for other houses on my street which included such things as bank statements and the like which contains sensitive information. My postmaster told me that it was simply a matter of a new carrier taking over that route. I advised him that the house numbers were printed on the pieces and should clearly not be delivered all to a mailbox of a different number. I also advised him that since I was getting my neighbor's bank statements and other correspondence of a similar nature, it gives me cause to wonder about where my similar mail might be being delivered. His face went blank.

I remember having to the PO to pick up my mail. Slips in the box and all that I couldn't figure out what the problem was. Problem went on for awhile. Almost accused the mailman of not bothering to come to the door. So I asked him about it.
When I asked my kids why they didn't go to the front door when the Mailman knocked, They told me.....
"We knew it wasn't for us"
