Hello- looking for where to turn.

A seller has not shipped an item

in 3 weeks. I contacted them but to no avail. In the eBay customer service directory, I have gone to “Report and item that you didn’t receive” but when I click on the item I am just brought to a tab that says “Oops, we had a technical hiccup.”

Seller is MIA 😕 seeking assistance, already dropped the ball with this item as I was ordering it for a birthday but unfortunately that didn’t work out. Now I just want they money back.

I’ve tried to find an alternative but every time the my eBay tab brings me to “Oops, we’ve had a technical hiccup.

This is actually my first negative experience with eBay in 10 years, never had an issue until this seller

I think it is time to open a case item not received...you only get 30 days. Keep trying. If you have an iPhone try it on that as well. Could have been a very temporary hiccup. Keep trying.

Try another way to open the case (assuming the last estimated delivery date has passed). Go to the item in your purchase history and select 'I didn't receive it' under More actions.

Try signing out and then sign in and try.  See if you can try in a different device.  This looks like another ebay glitch.

It seems there is some sort of glitch with the returns/refunds process because I have seen many posts regarding it. 

Click this link Customer Service  in the page select BUYING, next Click Get Help with an item that hasn’t arrived. Click the automated assistant then type in agent. You’ll either have the option to request a call back or start a live chat.

Go to your Purchase History and click on Order Details next to the item title to see if the latest estimated date of delivery has already passed.

IF/WHEN the latest estimated date of delivery has already passed by at least 1 day, you have up to 30 days past estimated date of delivery to file a Refund Request:

Go to your My Ebay page >> Purchase history

  •     Select “More actions” beside your item and then “I didn't receive it.”
  •     Click the box beside I want a refund.
  •     Select Send request.

If the seller does not respond after 3 days, you can ask Ebay to step in to help you.

  •     Find the item in your Purchase History
  •     Select See request details
  •     Select “Ask eBay to step in.”

If you are attempting to start an "item not received" case using a browser and getting a "technical hiccup" error:

 

Try using the eBay app, if possible to start the "item not received" case -- I seem to be able to get farther along in the process using the app than when using a desktop browser. At least three users have indicated that they were able to successfully start an "item not received" case through the app when the browser link gave that error message.
