Ironic that I am reaching out to you wonderful folks and see that this forum may close! I have been an eBay seller for quite some time and I happened upon this board or category by accident. Perhaps eBay would consider keeping this if it was more visible.
Maybe I am just a bit dense--and yes, I probably am 🙂 but the whole Community Boards/Categories are very confusing to me and finding these little niches is hard. I would guess that many, many button sellers would love to have a place to talk and ask questions if they knew about it. Just a thought...
I bought a junk jar full of buttons and belt buckles, etc. and these two fasteners were in there. I thought perhaps someone may have seen this as I have no idea what it is... Can you help?
It is about 1 3/4 inch square and look like brass, then maybe a green glass surface with inset green rhinestone horseshoe. The back is something like a clip fastener. It is marked only Trade Mark on the back. If you grasp the two ends of the fastener they open and come together so to fit perhaps in a button hole or on a shoe? Sorry it's so dirty--it is in good shape. The 2nd one on it's back, so to speak, has broken glass.
