Hello! I found a wonderful military locket button with photo's in it. I've seen these listed as rare / hard to find and they reference a quote from a book stating that they are from WWII. I have an old book on buttons that describes the photo locket buttons from WWI and in WWII they used compass buttons. (from 'The Button Sampler' by Lillian smith Albert & Jane Ford Adams - 1951)
Does anyone have information stating it's a WWII button? If you can provide a quote from your resource (or link or picture) I would appreciate that also (and please let me know if I have permission to quote your quote when I list it!).
Also, does anyone know if it's legal to provide a picture of quote from a book? I wouldn't want to be in violation of any copyright issues! Thanks!! ~Pam~
