Vintage fashions - replacement display box or not?

wondering if putting minty vintage fashions into replacement display boxes (they are held by tabs or baggies under the tabs) would enhance their value to buyers?

I could take pics of the fashions first and then put them into the boxes.

Thoughts?

IMO the only box that would actually enhance the value is the original box.

USe the original box.  If the box shows wear, you can always include a new gift box and let the buyer decide which box to use if it's a gift.

I don't have an original box.   these are replacement cardboard boxes with cello windows that look like the original boxes.

The vast majority of collectors buying loose vintage fashions are doing so to put them on a doll. So the presence of a replacement box isn't going to affect the value. It becomes excess packaging to be stored or disposed of.
