seller has not notify me receiving merchandise and keep sending messages t0 return it on 3/27/25

Ebay has not returned  my messages.  It seems  system is not set up to handle refused merchandise and size exchange.  The automatic assistance keep repeting instructions in how to return the item. The item was send back to the seller the same day received with the same carrier who brought it to my door. According to them they are still waiting for the merchandise to be returned by the 27 of March. I don't know how to get in touch with the seller nor Ebay, some suggestions please.

If you returned the item without going through the eBay return process, you lost your buyer protection. 

It can take weeks for a RTS item to get back to the seller. 
Depending on what shipping service was used, the seller may have to pay to get it back.  Since you have no protection from eBay, there would be reason for a seller to pay to get it back.

What caught my eye was "...system is not set up to handle refused merchandise..."   Did you refuse to accept the package when delivery was attempted?  If that's what you did, then you voided your buyer protection.  On the remote chance that you're lucky, the seller will refund just the purchase price of the item, minus postage both ways.

your answer was informative. This means I lose my  money? They  have not acknowledge receipt of the merchandise jet.

Thank you for your response. I am not able to get in touch with Ebay. I only get the automatic answer. Do  you know how?

I usually don't post the social media contacts to eBay, so I went to a reply by one of the best responders on the AAM board and copied the following:
