rss feeds are broken on ebay.com.au

HI Guys,

Since about a week ago rss feeds for the eBay .au domain no longer work. Previously i was able to append "&_rss=1" to any eBay search and have the website spit out an rss feed that i could subscribe to.

When i try to query the feed now i get an error that it is inaccessible. If i try to append "&_rss=1" to a search now it redirects to the search page.

This does not affect the ebay.com site.  Only ebay.com.au.

For example:
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313&_nkw=pictures+of+cats&_sacat=0&_rss=1          <- Works fine

https://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313&_nkw=pictures of cats&_sacat=0&_rss=1  <- borked

Really hope that eBay isn't trying to silently kill this feature and hope notices. Easily accessible rss feeds are the most useful thing about this site.

I am not an RSS feed user, but there is a recent post indicating that by modifying a broken feed URL slightly, nonworking feed links may be made to apparently work again:
