return of faulty item / seller doesn't accept returns

hello, i purchased a pair of speakers in working according (according to description) but item arrived faulty with no exterior damage.

Is seller responsible for paying return shipping under "eBay Money Back Guarantee."?

. return on my own would cost me now almost the total price of transaction

Do not use your funds for the return.   Open a Return Request for an ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED defective.  This overrides no-returns. Seller will pay for the return (if he can't send a label, he has to advance funds for you to buy one), if he wants it back, and/or refund. If no response by the fourth day, go back and ask ebay to step in. Do not close or let the case expire without doing this, if not resolved.
