the way I normally sell an item is I look up an identical or similar item and hit the sell button then edit the info it seems so much easier than starting the template from scratch so to speak.where's the sell button? am I missing it?

Still awaiting an answer from eBay about removing the Sell Similar option on other seller's listings, but you can use Sell Similar to create a listing from one of your own items and then change the necessary information.

I only used the List an item option once, 19 years ago, and have used Sell Similar from my own items ever since. That way, the information I include on EVERY listing is there, and I only have to change what's different.

If you want to start from scratch though, on your Seller Hub Active listings page, click the Create listing button.
