I've been trying to get feedback on the roll out of this system for 10 months but no one sounds in?? If you sign onto this method, Ebay takes over your payment processing. If seller requires this method (auto payment one hour after close of auction) to bid the item listed and you pick it to bid, this method is applied to all future bids placed on all other listings! Am I alone in thinking I'd rather reach into my own wallet or bank acct. to make payment? I used this in Feb. 2024 and did not win that auction but did win 2 other listings which were auto paid at closing. I didn't see I'd won until 12 hours later when I wrote the seller to review packing required for the vintage turntable I'd been searching on Ebay for more than 2 years, the seller said he already packed it and is a "power seller" and well versed in s/h. Days later the turntable arrived crushed in MANY PIECES as the "POWER SELLER" only sold vintage toys and had no idea what a turntable requires in packing for SAFE PASSAGE! Even though buyer protection refunded me, it's been over ten months since and I still haven't found another working model same as the lost one. The only thing Ebay changed after this MESS was that the payment now isn't posted until one hour after winning. Everything in the bylaws says nothing about my agreeing to post payment within one hour of winning? Can any of you imagine this same thing happening to you, and why does picking this method apply to all future payments? My feedback should display me ability to post payment in an honest timely manner! This system makes me feel like I'm shopping on CRAIGSLIST!!?! I've posted this comment SEVERAL times this year but never had any response. BEWARE!
