overcharged by ebay

Ebay charged me twice for a shipping label, how in the world do I contact them to correct this error? I tried all the 'boxes."

Re: overcharged by ebay

@philstuff2   Are you sure that both charges were for the label and not one for the final value fees?

You can see what you were charged by going to your all transactions page>

https://www.ebay.com/mes/transactionlist?sh=true

Or by selecting view order details next to the item on this page>https://www.ebay.com/sh/ord/?filter=status:ALL_ORDERS

If you paid for two labels by mistake ( your item will have two tracking numbers)   you can void it here within 5 days of the date of delivery>

https://www.ebay.com/ship/labels/seller-hub  The postal carrier then refunds you in about 2-3 weeks on your all transactions page.

If you still think there is an error  Here's how to contact eBay customer service:

eBay agents are working from home so you have to request a call back or live chat.

1. CLICK THIS LINK: https://www.ebay.com/help/contact_us?id=4191&st=10

2. Click Automated chat on the left hand side of the screen.    ( Trust me)

3. Type AGENT in the small box on the lower right of the linked page then you will see the options to contact a live agent, you may have to answer the chat bots questions before it allows you to connect to an agent, this is so you are connected to the correct department.     If  the bot asks another question after you answered type AGENT  again.  Then you will see the option to request a call back or live chat.

If you are located outside of US or Canada then you will need to use the Chat option or Social Media

4. Or you can also contact customer service by sending a private message on social media. You leave a message and an eBay employee will get back to you as soon as possible. To speed things up you can leave your registered account information in the PRIVATE message: Full name, address, phone number, email address, user ID, and a brief explanation of your problem.

Re: overcharged by ebay

Hi @philstuff2

If you purchased a 2nd shipping label by mistake … you have 5 days to VOID the label you didn’t use.  You’ll receive a refund from USPS in 2-3 weeks.

If you didn’t purchase 2 labels accidentally … then the 2nd charge is likely an illusion … meaning that it didn’t really happen.  [One of the ‘charges’ just indicated ‘pending’.]

Re: overcharged by ebay

@philstuff2   If it's been more than 5 days since you purchased the label then you can't void it.    You'll have to call it eBay "tuition" .  I paid a bit of " tuition" when i was learning to sell.

Go to this page>

https://www.ebay.com/ship/labels/seller-hub  If it's not too late you will see the void option in the actions drop down menu next to the label.

Re: overcharged by ebay

THANK YOU......I found it, I did it and now the request is 'under consideration'. If all goes well you have saved me a goodly amount to go back into the food budget!!
