I'm really getting tired of buying stuff from people that you think are legitimate. Then when you get your item it's just directly shipped from Amazon. If I wanted Amazon to have my freaking information I would buy from them directly. The lack of transparency from Sellers and the lack of oversight from eBay as a company has made me not want to buy things on this site anymore. As someone who has been here for decades it really is a shame how they let go of their entire customer service department to save money. Now you have people lying and shipping stuff from China yet it says on the person's account it ships in the United States. I'm not feeling comfortable buying on eBay anymore. There is no oversight and criminals are allowed to do whatever they want to hear.

Yes, these things are happening all over the place

Yes, it happens, but eBay can't do anything about it if they don't know where it's happening.
1. Dropshipping from Amazon is a policy violation. You can leave appropriate feedback to warn other buyers. You can also report the seller (see link below).
2. eBay has not let their customer service department go. Not sure where you ever got that idea. There are contact links on most help pages, but here is a general one: You can request a call back from eBay or chat on the left side of the page at this link: https://www.ebay.com/help/contact_us?id=4002&st=10
3. Misrepresenting the item location is also a policy violation and you can report the seller for this as well (see below). You can help avoid these sellers by checking the sellers feedback comments to see what others are saying. While you are on the page, check to see if the seller is located in China. If so, there is a good chance the item is too (though some sellers in China do have US warehouses). If the transit time is more than a week or two, that's also a clue.
You can report a seller for violations here:

It literally states they don't have their 1-800 number anymore, they only have one regarding fraud. You can't get ahold of anybody from this company unless you have Twitter or Facebook. You should be able to report sellers but you can't you have to jump through hoops and I'm just tired of it.

That's correct. You cannot call eBay. But...
It looks like you missed the part of my message where I gave you the link that gives you the option to request a callback so you can talk with a rep.
Rarely do I ever need to speak with someone at eBay and I don't have Twitter or Facebook, but I have had to speak with eBay 3 times recently about a bug that is impacting bulk shipping. I received a callback within seconds each time I requested one.
You don't have to "jump through hoops" to report a seller either. I gave you the link to file a report. It takes seconds - much less time that talking with a CS rep. The report will go on the seller's record and is more effective than talking with a rep about it.
We want your journey here to be as great as can be, so we have put together some links to help you get quickly familiarized with the eBay Community.
