eBay fees

Is anyone else think eBay is charging way too much in fees?, they appear to be taking 25% of sales, which is a ridiculous amount.  An 18.00 sale, and I only get 15.00, seriously?

Ebay selling fees are based on the total amount the buyer pays which is price of item + shipping charges + taxes.
