advanced search problem

Every time i do an advanced search and select sold the field below automatically fills.

this results in searching only my account - useless.  I use clear all option select but it doesn't help.  Any ideas why this is happening??

Only show items from:

Specific sellers (enter sellers' user IDs)

IncludeExclude   -   selects include

Enter seller's name or multiple seller names separated by a comma or a space - fill with my account name

Are you using Chrome and searching on the Advanced Search page? If so, you may be running into an issue where your username is being inserted into the seller search field and results are only being shown from your items (if any). Deleting your eBay credentials from Chrome's password manager using the link in that seller drop-down menu can fix that issue for you. Adding the credentials back when you sign in again seems to work and not re-trigger the issue.

That is exactly what is happening (username is being inserted into the seller search field) but I was unable to find link to eBay credentials.  I can go directly to Chrome browser and delete my stored eBay password, is that what you mean?

You should be able to click on that seller field on the Advanced Search page and see a drop-down for that username with an option to delete it.
