Why cant I reach EBAY by calling 1 866 540 3229 ??? Your phone customer service is terrible. Get rid of the automation & replace with live operator. I need to speak with a live agent NOW!!!

eBay eliminated direct-dial customer service when they allowed support staff to work from home during the societal interruption. To speak to a rep, you will need to request a callback. Find a help page that is somewhat similar to your issue. Scroll to the bottom, select "Contact us" and then type "agent" into the chat that opens.

I don't think your solution should be to "remove or eliminate direct dial customer service" that was a bad move. Bring it back!! It's the foundation of customer service.

Also if you send email to your members, make sure they are 2 way monitored email so that we can respond and be heard and you can respond back to us. No more holding us away at arms length.

If you can't do that, don't send email. Email were meant to be two way. eBay, you have fallen and have adopted a very narrow perspective of what you think customer service is. You have forgotten much and need a refresher course. Step it up.
