Why are my funds on hold ?

I sold an item at a higher price then normal and eBay is now holding my funds for 5 days.  The item has already been delivered to the buyer.  Calling agents is worthless as they can't do anything about it but it seems like this could be a class action suit as eBay is earning interest on my thousands of dollars by holding my funds hostage.  What can I do?

Payments can be held for 30 days. It sounds like this one falls under the high priced items clause here - https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/getting-paid-items-youve-sold/payments-hold?id=4816&s...

If the release is expected in 5 days, you should just wait it out.
