When should i start shipping my items to a shipping service like usps

I am new to selling so can I drop off my item to the shipping service ASAP or even 1 day after?

After you have been notified that the buyer has paid and you have been provided with the buyer's shipping address, you can create a shipping label through Ebay or use your own label and purchase postage at the post office, making sure you receive a tracking # to enter in the order details.
