As a seller, I need clarification on exactly what “a 14-day return policy” means. 14 days from the date the buyer receives the item? When is it safe to assume they will not request a return? Thanks, all!

Sellers return policy allows returns for any reason.
Ebay's Money Back Guarantee only allows returns for the following reasons:
Doesn't work or defective
Doesn't match description or photos
Wrong item sent
Missing parts or pieces
Arrived damaged
Doesn't seem authentic
If the seller has a return policy in place, it encourages buyers to try to work things out with the seller without having to resort immediately to Ebay's MBG.

The Ebay Money Back Guarantee specifies that a buyer has up to 30 days from date of delivery to file the Return Request, regardless of what the seller's return policy states.

Thanks. So why do we as sellers go through the bother of choosing a return policy? Ebay should make this clearer.
