I'm new on this platform and am not sure what to do for a smashed item which is obviously the post office fault as the box is crushed and a glass container busted. Do I contact Ebay, the post office, give the buyer a partial refund? Please help. Thanks Kathleen

Refund your buyer in full then file a claim with USPS. Have the buyer keep the item & packaging in case the post office needs photos.

Thank you for your help; however, I sent this thru Ebay shipping label, so post office will not accept and it was only partially damaged (part of the item). I refunded the shipping to the buyer, but is there a way for me to get my cost of shipping from Ebay?
