What does eBay do to those that do not pay, more than a few times?

Sold an item last week, for over $300.  Buyer did not pay.  I check his feedback, there are 5 feedback showing the guy didn't pay for those items, too.  I am sick to death of us sellers getting the shaft!  What does eBay do to those that do not pay?  smh  Depression is now a way of life for me, since October 2000, and the major cluster **bleep** caused by USPS, that sellers were totally blamed for.  I'm disabled, and cannot work.  All of my sales help supplement my monthly SSD.  Non-payers make things very rough.  Yet I never seen anything being done by eBay, other than to slap restrictions and extra fees on sellers.

eBay is no friend to sellers, unless he/she is making millions for them.

If those sellers had reported the nonpayment the correct way that buyer would be gone.

@bossy22islanders

If those sellers would have canceled the orders for nonpayment or filed a UPI, most sellers would of had them blocked from bidding or making offers.

If nonpayers is that much of a problem, list as a BIN with immediate payment required.

Been here since 2011 and never had a nonpayer.

Have a great day.

All those sellers are violating eBay policy by giving the deadbeat buyer a negative feedback since buyers can only receive positive feedback. The buyer can have eBay remove every one of those negative comments and gets to keep the positive rating.

The right thing to do is wait for the 5th day after the listing is purchased/won, then if not paid, you CANCEL the transaction with the reason "buyer didn't pay". That gives them an Unpaid Item Strike in their account.

If a member gets 2 or more UPI Strikes with 12 months, they will find that many savvy sellers block members with 2 Strikes in 12 months from buying their listings.

You can block these deadbeats from buying/bidding on your listings by setting the Buyer Requirement to block members with 2 UPI Strikes in 12 months.

Put the deadbeats you encounter in your Blocked Bidder List so even if their Strikes age off, you still won't have to deal with them.
