What am I doing wrong? I keep losing my draft listings

For two days in a row, I spent hours creating multiple listings -- only to have them suddenly disappear.  I feel so dumb; I'm not usually this inept with technology!

I working in the "create multiple listings" area; I had created 6 listings (different product versions, pricing, and charitable donations). As I was working and reviewing, I was seeing the autosave function working.   I was about 3 minutes away from posting all of them -- and whoosh -- they disappeared again.  I'm back to seeing the original version I started with today after the same thing happened to me last night.

Can anyone lend insight?

(I also find it confusing that using the "creating multiple listings" function does not send your drafts to the same area where "drafts" are stored when clicking on the "drafts" button in the seller area...)

@asclaire I always just create the listings one a time from this page>   https://www.ebay.com/sl/prelist/suggest?sr=shListingsTopNav

Or use sell one like this from another sellers sold listing and edit the title and item specifics as needed.
