Using Parcel Select

Hi.  I've been selling for a few years now.  I've always had the buyer pay for shipping.  I'm just now starting to print my own labels and offering free shipping.  I see that Parcel select is the cheapest way to go.  Right now, I have about 98% listings with Retail Ground.  Can I change all my boxes as they are all different sizes, shapes and weight to Parcel Select?

And also, I tried studying this on my own and somewhere I read that I need to click irregular box to ship Parcel?

Any help would REALLY be appreciated.  I'm old school and feel intimidated by Technology.

You can change them, but I doubt Parcel Select is the cheapest way to go on all those items - are you actually comparing shipping costs in the calculator?

Also keep in mind that you can offer Parcel Select on your listings but you won't be able to print those labels on eBay.  eBay will default the label page to a useless PM FRE to fill the slot.

You will have to print Parcel Select labels on an outside service like PayPal or pirateship.com, then make sure the tracking is uploaded.

I've never heard of the "need to click irregular box to ship Parcel" thing, no idea what that even means.
