Did you purchase the item ON Ebay and did you go through the Ebay checkout page? If so, you should be able to find the item in your Purchase History. https://www.ebay.com/mye/myebay/purchase (do not search by order number)
If you made the purchase as a Guest, you can look in your email for the Ebay confirmation of your order.
If you determine that someone used your Paypal account to pay for their Ebay purchase, report the unauthorized charge to Paypal.
