Unable to put items in cart

For the past week or so, I have been unable to put anything in my ebay cart. When I click on 'buy now' a pop up shows up for an 'additional service' of insurance by Allstate. I decline and then go to 'go to cart'. However, the screen freezes up. I have tried to exist out of the pop up and then go to my cart, but my cart simply says my cart is empty.

Do I have to buy the insurance (which I do not need/want) to buy anything on ebay now?

What browser are you using? Latest version?

Any difference if you use another browser?

I tried a different browser, and it worked! Then I tried again using my usual browser, and it worked? Very weird but looks like it fixed itself!

Very glad to hear that things are working for you now, at least.

It may have been a timing issue -- perhaps waiting long enough allowed eBay to change something, or allowed your cache or cookie to be updated -- but trying another browser is a quick alternative that can often help. If nothing else, it can rule out a problem with the original browser.
