I purchased 3Port USB3.0 High Speed Hub Splitter Expansion Adapter for PC Laptop Mac Desktop from on Oct 7, 2022 which is defective and states 1 year warranty in the description. When I try to use "Contact Seller" I get the same message: We're sorry we couldn't find an answer for you. Unfortunately due to the high volume of messages this seller receives, they are unable to respond to your specific question right now. We suggest reviewing the item again to see if your answer is in the seller's listing. I contacted Customer Service and they instructed me to send an email to the seller and Customer Service would also contact the seller. I never got a response from the seller and emailed them again. I contacted Customer Service again and were given instructions to have eBay "Step In" and "Report Seller" that do not work on a purchase past 30 days. I had to purchase a different device to be able to use all my devices on my laptop and I need Ebay to "Step In" and get the seller to refund me the purchase price.

If you purchased a third-party warranty, contact the warranty service directly.

eBay's money back guarantee, which is not a warranty, only applies in the first thirty days after receipt of the item.

Manufacturer's warranties typically only apply if you purchase the item from an authorized dealer; check with the manufacturer to see what your options are.

A warranty is only as good as the reputation of whoever offers it. A claim of a one year warranty made by a random seller on eBay is not worth much. Neither you nor eBay can force the seller to honor the warranty if the seller disappears or ignores you.

You may have some protection from PayPal or your payment method; PayPal and many credit cards may offer up to six months protection for your purchases.
