UNFAIR FEEDBACK

I sold a shirt to a person who waited 1 month to leave me NEGATIVE FEEDBACK... I clearly stated I dont offer returns.. That was disclosed before buyer purchased the item... 1 month later she left me NEGATIVE FEEDBACK

REASON was SELLER does NOT accept returns... This was well known before the buyer bid on the item.. There was nothing wrong with the item... Buyer stated it did not fit that was it ... How do I get this removed?  Thanks

UNFAIR FEEDBACK

@joanide  this is the feedback policy link>

you can leave a follow up comment to defend yourself, but be as diplomatic as possible so other buyers aren't turned off. also, you can block the buyer.

UNFAIR FEEDBACK

I need to get it taken down... I called EBAY and they said they would write to that dept

IS THERE A BETTER WAY to get it taken down?  Thank you

Buyer is unreasonable so I need EBAY to take action

UNFAIR FEEDBACK

@joanide   Right, so since u r complaining and yelling to the ebay volunteer community of buyers and sellers like yourself, the best we can do is advise, which i already did.

You say u called ebay, so what more do u expect from us?

IMO- that feedback will not be taken down bc the buyer stated their truth and the fact of u not accepting returns is truth.

IMO- the best u can do for now, as already stated by me, is to leave a follow up comment.

UNFAIR FEEDBACK

Only eBay can remove feedback and the feedback must violate a policy in order for them to remove it. Being unreasonable isn't a policy violation.

The buyer was not happy with the item and you refused to take care of her. Her buying experience with you was negative. I don't think eBay will take the feedback down, but that is just my opinion. In the meantime, you need to think of a calm, professional way to reply to the feedback so that you won't drive away business. That's going to be hard to do as buyers can see that if they aren't happy, it really doesn't matter to you.

More buyers than you can imagine will not buy from sellers who won't take returns. I am one of them, and I've only returned one item in 19 years (and that item was defective). An unfriendly return policy drives away business. If you changed your policy, you might increase your business so much that taking an occasional return will be more than worth it.
