Stop the app!! I need ebay.com

Ok, there are a lot of things that ebay can't do! One is set time away, unless I really didn't look hard enough. In any event this has happened to me on more than several occasions.  When I'm on my phone but I'm going to ebay.com and click the classic site button then clicked time away, it opens the app instead. It's worked for me before for other things that I can't find my answer for, albeit annoying.

Anyone know of a fix or workaround? I know the easy answer is uninstall the app, because I've done it! But really?

If you go to the "Time Away" help page with your phone's browser, it should not force you to use the app.

If eBay browser links are opening in the Android version of the app automatically, you can disable that by going to your device Settings: Apps: eBay: Open by default: Opens supported links and choosing "Don't open in the app".

iOS users can tap and hold an eBay browser link and choose "Don't open in the app".
