Shipping to Hawaii - need to charge more postage?

I honestly thought I had excluded Puerto Rico and Hawaii and Alaska - to name a few. Anyway this lady made a purchase. I wrote to her and explained the situation and basically asked if she wanted to pay $4.40 more for regular post or $7.70 more for priority. Also, I said if she wanted to cancel, I would do that as well. No response. Help!!

@rosebla_bla  If you are shipping 1st class or Priority there is no reason to exclude Hawaii , Alaska or Puerto Rico or the Protectorates.     

Just use calculated shipping on your listings.

Those locations are probably zone 8 (or zone 9) so the buyer will be paying the correct postage if you selected calculated shipping when you created the listing.

I am not sure how to use calculated shipping? What section is it under?

@rosebla_bla   Do you know which listing tool you are using?  

You enter the package weight and dimensions and select buyer pays> calculated shipping.
