Returning payment buyer

I put an item for sale on eBay and someone purchased it through “Buy it Now”. Unfortunately the item is no longer available; now I have the buyers money in my bank account, but I don’t have the product anymore to send to the buyer. How do I get eBay to refund the money from my account to pay back the customer/buyer?

You will need to cancel the transaction in order for the buyer to be refunded.

1. In Seller Hub, go to Orders; or in My eBay, go to Sold
2. Find the order you want to cancel, and from More actions, select Cancel order.
3. Choose a reason for the cancellation and then select Submit to finish.
