I received an item that wasn’t as described, I started a return, then after talking with the seller, decided to accept a replacement item. The seller wants me to cancel the return before sending the replacement, which I understand, but if I have problems with the replacement it looks like I will have no recourse and don’t know what to do, it looks easy but I don’t have high hopes after already getting a defective item.

Do NOT ever cancel or let a case expire until the matter is settled, which means you either have a refund or the replacement. Best always to get a refund and purchased again.
