Hello -

This issue has once again raised its ugly head. Another buyer posted the same issue yesterday and someone responded that it was related to the weekly maintenance that eBay performs every Thursday night. Well it's Friday and it you still cannot attach photos when sending a message to a seller. And this is true regardless of the browser. And it's true for both a laptop and desktop. Someone mentioned they encountered this problem a couple of years ago and was able to attach photos using the eBay app but it was not ideal and took a long time.

NOTE: If you respond to a message from  a seller you can attach photos but you are limited to only 5 instead of 10.  But why is that working and the messaging not?

If we could just get eBay to stop tinkering with stuff that doesn't need fixing the whole community would be much more appreciative. And eBay wonders why long-time loyal members are looking for alternatives.

And then watch for any additions to the top post on that forum, that would indicate it has become a technical ticket (or contact customer support to add to the pressure to open a ticket).
