I may be old, 75, but I am usually not stupid. I cannot find any place where I can see what funds have come into my account, what fees have been taken out, and the BALANCE. The reports they are showing me have the fees I am being charged or I can get another report that shows what I have sold, but nothing that shows a running record of funds, less fees, equals balance.
I am an accountant and I am here to tell you that this is some lousy accounting method. How are you to ever know exactly where you stand and why? Is it just me or does someone know where I can find this information?
Thanks,
feistynancy

Go to
Seller Hub > Payments > All transactions and Payouts are the options I use most often

None of the payment processors have reports an accountant could love. 🙂 I found it easier to create my own spreadsheet, then just pull info as needed to update it. I did this daily, then weekly as I wound down my business to retirement last fall.
You can run a transaction report that will show you the payments and fees, and net payout - it is in spreadsheet format. Your current payment account balance is displayed here - https://www.ebay.com/sh/fin/summary
To see the balance at last month end, review your monthly statement.
The invoice does still show you some monthly totals, if you are lucky enough to be billed at the end of the month. I was on the 15th billing cycle, so it was always a bit more fun.

Sorry, that doesn't help. I have been selling on here for over 20 years and those reports are mostly useless as far as being able to verify I am getting the correct funds and if there are any errors.

Then you will need to create something that fits your needs. A simple spreadsheet should be easy for you. What have you been using in the past?
I sold 30,000 items per year x 15 years with the inadequate reporting from eBay, and the minimal reporting from paypal. I created my own linked spreadsheets that gave me everything that I needed, including inventory control.
Lots of sellers use Quickbooks, if you want to spend $ on the issue.
