Hi, I'm a fairly new seller on eBay and maybe this was a rookie mistake. I had a buyer make a low offer for an item, so I counteroffered to meet in the middle. It's been 8 hours with no reply from them and the last time I did this they never replied. Now I notice that I can't update the listing in any way (such as adding a better photo), until the 48 hours expires. Does the listing get frozen so no one else can buy it while this 48 hours ticks down? This seems like an excessive amount of time to give a buyer and to lose sales opportunities. In your opinion is it better to flat out decline vs. making a counteroffer? Any other suggestions? Thanks!
