Late shipment rate

Hi, I currently have a "late shipment rate" of 7 %. I always, ALWAYS, ship the items here from Germany to US-customers directly after I get the payment for it. My opinion is, that the very slow working USPS is responsible for this. From my side I can nothing do to improve my late-shipment rate. What can ebay do for me ??? !!!

You're shipping items from Germany using USPS? They have offices in Germany now?

See if DeutschePost has the equivalent of our acceptance scan in the US.  Here, if we get a scan within our handling time, a shipment is not counted late, no matter how long it takes to get delivered.

You should also check the seller performance policy on ebay.de for late shipments, to make sure the acceptance scan works the same way for you. I assume there is something similar so you are not at the mercy of the postal systems around the world.
