I just won the bid on a 2022 Kabota MX6000 tractor. The winning bid was 31000
i was contacted by a guy named Fred with EBay. I am very nervous about this purchase and need to verify with the seller that the tractor is in working condition and not stolen. I need the Serial number to have it check out. I don’t want a tractor that has been flooded with water or something. How do I protect myself?

Hi @wpe787
Vehicle sales on eBay Motors are nonbinding ... meaning either seller or buyer can walk away from the deal without penalty. Vehicle sales DO NOT offer the same protection to buyers that most other sales do.
The ONLY way to protect yourself is to view and test drive the vehicle yourself ... as well as have it inspected by a trusted mechanic. You also need to view whatever 'proof of ownership' the seller can offer. [I understand that not all tractors have titles or registration documents.]
It doesn't sound like you've expected to check out the tractor yourself. How did you plan to have it delivered to you from Texas?

Nobody with Ebay would call you after you have won an auction.
