I sent a shipment through the eBay shipping program on Dec 10th to the UK. The order arrived at the consolidation center on Dec 13th. The next and last tracking entry is Tue, Dec 31, 2:57pm, Processing at Consolidation Center. Huh? My nice, repeat customer wants the product but is concerned that it may be lost and asked If I could help. This is my first issue with the shipping program and I'm looking for any ideas on how to proceed. No luck with the automated AI helper as it didn't find the order and said he needed to open a request. I told him to and he did. Now, I simply get the normal "Refund the Buyer, Send tracking and so on. I'm just not in the right area to follow up on this international order. Send me a though or two.

If you sent this item to the eBay International Shipping hub in Glendale Heights, IL and tracking shows it was delivered there successfully, in essence, your job is done. In the Order Details for this transaction should be an estimated delivery date to the U.K. If it is past that date, or even if it is close, I would advise your Buyer to open an Item Not Received refund request and eBay will handle it from there.
Often in the tracking you will see, it shows Steps. It's possible the hold up involves the Buyer paying some type of custom fees. Or it's possible the item cannot be sent to the U.K. I'm only guessing here. The bottom line though, is the Buyer needs to open the refund request for eBay to be alerted and work with your Buyer.

Hi,
I do appreciate your input as it certainly makes sense to me. I have advised my buyer to do what you suggested.
Thank you for your advice,
