So I have contacted EBAY 3 times so far. I even put up with installing the EBAY app and from the Customer service to see if that would fix it. Nope.

I have COntacted the Seller of this item no less then 6 times so far. No response.
I do not want to be in Bad Standing with EBAY. And I would like to get a New Transmission soon.
Should I just Avoid these: FREIGHT Sales Calculated at Shipping?
No response at all from the Seller itself. And I would like to find a way to solve this as its been over 2 weeks of communication. And think I should just go to LKQ and buy one in person.
The Other Mystery is that, I can get a 100 Lb AC unit delivered to my home from Walmart with Free Shipping, but these Transmissions need to be picked up at a DOCK with a Forklift? What gives?
Why does it cost $250 bucks to ship something like this? Its Smaller and Lighter then my LAST AC unit?
Not only that? But HOW can I just have EBAY take care of this? Again. 3 calls with "Just contact the seller"

The Only good news it seems is that the seller has till Sunday the 7th of August to complete the transaction. That's in one day from this post as it is Saturday, August 6th, 2022
Here is what I don't get. How come the only option if the seller does not contact me is... Wait for it...

How come the answer is always CONTACT SELLER?
Not Woopse! We see our system did not let you send an email.
Or.. WOOPSE! Our own links to contact the seller do not work.
This is where it gets "FISHY"....
so I looked up the EBAY polices on this. And it seems there is no real policy about this.

So if their is an EBAY Error, or technical problem that stops you from contacting a seller and it does not show up as a message to the seller? And its been over 4 days? And you contacted them 3 days in a row and they kept giving you the run around? Its the BUYERS FAULT?
This has been my first problem with Ebay in 5 years.
As a Caution to the rest of you. I would pass on these Contact seller items on "Freight Shipping" if I were you.
I just find it hard to believe that after talking to the Reps over 4 times? It really does feel like that simply either do not understand the problem. Or they just don't wish to get involved in it as they don't have the training to take care of this issue.
After telling the Rep "Decson" that I have copies of the messages sent in my email box, the whole thing started changing the tune. But why does it have to be like this?
This really should not be the way things go. And as much as I am happy with Ebay overall? This is a problem that needs to be fixed.

I'm surprised the seller has not reached out to you to send you the cost of the freight shipping so he can get paid.
Have you tried going to your Purchase history and using the CONTACT SELLER link there to ask for the amount for freight shipping so you can pay him? There is also a CONTACT SELLER link on the right side of the actual listing.
If you do not hear back from the seller, I would make arrangements to purchase the transmission elsewhere. If the seller eventually files an Unpaid Item case, you can appeal it showing that you have in fact tried contacting the seller multiple times in order to get an invoice so you can pay.

I've only contacted the seller about.... 12 times now.
Its for Local Pick up. Its about 10 miles away from me.
And yet? Not a word. I mean Nothing.
I even looked up the Sellers Oregon Business name here to try to contact the business, but nothing but voice mails. And it seems they have one name on google. But heir phone system seems to have another name when you answer it. So the company might have changed hands.
This may be the Last time I ever order a Part like a transmission on Ebay ever. Or anything Local Pick up.
Its been the longest most drawn out thing I have ever experienced on Ebay. And its been trouble free for YEARS!
I'm really not kidding about this.
PayPal and eBay have been Flawless for me.
I just can't believe this experience is so bad. In fact? PayPal works so good, I even bought and returned an air conditioner to walmart that was shipped broken and got my refund the same day. And showed up on my PayPal within 1 minute of the return at the walmart Customer service counter. Amazing !
But this purchase is something I wish I never did. And after looking on the forums?
